Reg Sprigg Medal

The Reg Sprigg Gold Medal recognises an individual within Coteau Energy for exceptional contributions to advancing the company’s exploration and production goals.

Named in honour of Dr Reginald Sprigg AO (1919–1994), a pioneering geologist and leader in Australia’s petroleum industry, this award celebrates leadership, innovation, and service to our sector.

Lewis G Weeks Medal

The Lewis G Weeks Gold Medal recognises outstanding technical contributions in the field of petroleum exploration, inspired by Dr Weeks’ pioneering geological work in Bass Strait.

Nominees must demonstrate excellence in exploration science, technique, or education that advances Coteau Energy’s mission and the broader industry.
